Gold with honours! HOHOHO. It really came as a surprise. Before the syf around 3-4 days ago, Dr lee spoke the truth to us.
'You're only a silver band, guys. There are still notes that are out of tune! Intonation! Musicality! Its not there! The most u can get is a high silver.' okay a high silver is still a silver but yeah.
Now we know he was making sure we dont get complacent and work hard for it. cos he knew we were capable of doing well when we want to. Acs is full of surprises and as the scl motto goes, 'the best is yet to be.' haha but what crap la. the best is now!
Hehe. This feeling rocks. XD

This is true!
Okay, some time last week, my mum's fitness course had just ended and it was getting late. She was walking towards the carpark. Then, from out of nowhere, a scrawny little teenager approached her and said, 'Hi, i saw u walking and i just had to come and tell you that i think you are very sexy and you turn me on.'
It turns out that this scrawny little teenager is 26 years of age and my mum 44 years old. Both older than what it seems. So my mum thought of a way to turn him down nicely. It went something like, 'Um, thank you very much, but I'm already married and I have 2 kids that are not much younger than you are.'
That was her first impression, cos the guy was really dam short. My mum went on to ask the boy how old he was, and she was also dam surprised to hear that he was 26. 26 already.
Haha. My mum can be Miss Universe anytime. Oh i mean, Mrs.
This is a lie!
I am full of confidence for my syf on tue! Omg. Hope our last and final practice goes perfectly tml and that we reach spore conference hall on a high note. (no pun-intended.) Actually i pray that Francis Tan doesnt get overrawed by the occasion and start rushing us like theres no tomorrow. Mr Tan is our new conductor btw, if i havent said before. Haha, oh and my solo got cut away! I see it as a good thing, cos theres less pressure and all, but at the same time, i'm kinda sad in a way cos i really worked my socks off for it.
Oh and kee zhang worked his socks off for us, so i hope we return the favour and perform well for him. Eh that doesnt mean u slack off ah kee zhang. :)
Others!
1) We finally exchanged the gifts with each other! Hooray.
2) My mum and i went to watch The Winter's Tale, a shakespeare play at the esplanade. So the words they were using included all those 'thyself's, 'thou shalt not's and so on. I'm not Christian, and those were the easy ones. I started to worry, omg its in english and i dont understand. then i found out that my mum and her friend didn get it as well. yay pheww.
3) Lunch was horrible today!
4) Encourage the band tml!
5) My mum got me a belated birthday present. An electric guitar! Hahaha. Wellwell. My wish has been granted. (:

Hey. :D
Its time to revive this sleeping blog. Rev the engines.
Omg time's flying faster than it ever has been and its over a month since my last post. Even i'm baffled that i took this long to update, considering that i used to average a post every 2days. Or so. I'll list whatever i can think of briefly, cos writing in chunks of paragraphs is gonna kill me. U too i suppose. Okay. Im already having trouble thinking of the stuff that happened. Well.. of course the most recent would be...
1. Band camp! 13th march to 16th march. This is officially the 1st band camp under mr tan's tutelage. And the fact that all entertainment devices were banned makes it all the more horrifying. Omg there are no words to describe how ineffective the combined-s (combined practices) have been under him.
Firstly, he makes sectionals look more useful.
Secondly, on the last day of band camp, there was an exchange at ri. When it was our turn to perform, our attention was all over the place and the mistakes that he corrected, we repeated. It was as good as not practising at all la. Then i messed up my solo :( Okay la we are at fault too.
Well there was a plus about the exchange, i saw 2 ex-classmates perform! Acyl and mq. And saw another one that totally forgot who i was. Sheng wei how dare you.
Thirdly, we got hit by a 'tsunami'. A gentle one though. But you gotta admit he was damn effective.
2. March hols are here! Anyone willing to do mine for me? I really want to enjoy my holidays!
3. I met an ex-classmate after lunch with grandparents in toa payoh hub! Ah. we're living in such a small small world. Long time no see my friend. I think we were deskmates back in p6, for semester 1. Keep in touch yea.
4. The layout of facebook changed again! since when? hmph.
5. Man U got whacked by liverpool 4-1! A totally embarrassing result, as man u lost at home. Hahaha replaying the highlights over and over again makes me rub my hands over and over with glee. Poor ryan. Poor hemanth. Poor Man U. Whereas I am over the moon. :D
6. I still have someone's gift. Wondering if i should make the call or not. Am afraid to for some odd reason.
7. My dad took so long to come back from his stroll that we thought he walked all the way to johor bahru.
8. My mum hurt her back while sleeping on the couch from 12 noon to 5pm on sunday. Now she cant do any of her exercises, nor bend at the very least. But she can do pushups. Haha. Weird huh.
9. My bro looks the same. He was quite a pleasant thing to see (thing. haha) after the long exile in band camp. Home is where my heart is tyvm. :D
10. My grandparents brought me out for a dim sum lunch today. The food was amazing. Yummified. It was dammm nice.
