Thanks to you, i finally found a good way to memorise the amphoteric oxides.(:

As we all know, the amphoteric oxides are lead, zinc, and aluminium, and they can react with both acids and alkalis to form salts.(oh gosh i hope im right.) right?

my problem is, i keep forgetting that barium isnt an amphoteric oxide, over and over again.

So i seeked professional help! Lol.

My friend advised me:
'L' for Lead
'Z' for Zinc
'A' for Aluminium

And remember 'LAZ-Y' from the word (Lazy), with the 'y' inserted to make things easier. I thought it was pretty smart.

But why remember LAZ-Y when u can remember LAZY. yeah? Without the hyphen?

So i asked if i was an amphoteric oxide as well, since my name started with a 'Y'. This way all i needed to remember was a simple 'lazy'. Lol haha. Problem solved.

Okay yup thats all. I feel quite accomplished today.
