Nothing much to post about, i think i might be losing my a post a day attitude, but still, i'll post whenever im not thinking of food. Yumyum. Oh don't even get me started on Mogumogu =]
Joel whipped out a fine sexy little thing called the alto recorder yesterday, and Merrill and i were honoured to be one of the first to set our sights on it. Im going to get myself one too. I asked the price, he told me it costs $45. Hah. Compare it to the recorder i got in Japan. And it was a coloured recorder, not those ordinary bland beigey ones. It was around 390 yen. Thats like $3 something in sing bucks. Cheap yea, but im sure there are cheaper recorders around here, somewhere. Okay, i've arrived at a conclusion. Yamaha overprice their goods. Bad Yamaha.
I was just flipping and toying with the dictionary the other day in search of the longest word in the universe. Saw some cool words like:
1) Razzmatazz!
At first sight, it appears as if its a type of dance. Okay la i dont know about you, but thats what i thought it was. Its actually 'showiness, glamorous or extravagant show.' Heh. Quite close right.
2) Lepidopterology!
Omg. Took me two attempts to write it correctly, even with the dictionary by my side. I must be dyslexic (is that how u spell it?) or something. Anyway, quite incredibly, it is the study of butterflies and moths. I gave up long long ago trying to think of something smart.
3) Indian corn.
Corn made from India! was the first thing that came to mind. But once again, its not right. Its maize. Indian corn is maize. Hmmmm. Tricky.
(yawns) Rightey. The search for the longest word will go on. For now, im tossing the dictionary aside.
