I still remember what our dear c maths teach mr keith tan said, to our dear classmate Sai Anand:
Sai was busy chatting away to uh no one in particular with that china-shattering, high-pitched voice of his, and most likely, during that brief period of time, annoying the daylights out of mr tan.
So, he turned to look at him.
'You see my fist? (raises a fist) 'That's the size of your brain.' He goes on to raise his left hand, some distance apart from his right hand, as if holding an invisible soccer ball. He says, 'You see my two fists?'
'That's the size of your mouth.' Haha.
Anyway yesterday we met mr tharman shanmugaratnam (omg is this correct?) at this financial literacy event called 'Dollar$ and $en$e' at the frontier. Lots of old people were there, but something tells me they came because they heard about the free lunch, not because they were interested in learning more on money planning. Met brandon and some china dude at the boon lay mrt station before making our way there.
I caught some nice-looking bottles on display so i played the game and had to answer a question to win the bottle. Expecting something really really hard, i scratched my head in anxiety, then they flipped the card and read out, 'How many pencils can u buy with 20cents, if a pencil costs 5cents each?'
.___________. nothing to say. except that i got what i wanted. =]
