Germany LOST. Omg, and it had to be fernando torres of liverpool to score the winner. 1-0 said the scoreline.
Anyway, here's a joke from mark's blog.
Three vampires were on a tree, Vampire A flew away and came back within 10 seconds. His mouth was so full with fresh blood, excess of the blood was dripping from his mouth.
Vampire A: 'You see that house?' Vampire B: 'Ya i saw.' Vampire C: 'Ya i saw.' Vampire A: 'I sucked all their blood.'
Vampire B then flew out from the tree, and came back within 5 seconds. His mouth was also full of fresh blood, excess of the blood was dripping from his mouth. Vampire B: 'You see that village?' Vampire A: 'Ya i saw.' Vampire C: 'Ya i saw.' Vampire B: 'I sucked all their blood.'
Vampire C then flew out from the tree, and came back within 2 seconds. Blood dripped not only from his mouth too, but was also all over his face. Vampire C: 'You see that tree?' Vampire A: 'Ya i saw.' Vampire B: 'Ya i saw.' Vampire C: 'I didn't.'
My hard drive is at stake and hemanth is trying to find/replace it. And we have a cool new adv maths teacher called mr choy. He says his name sounds funny, so he told us to call him by his 'mr mike'. He loves the number 6 too.
Er. My com broke down.

Behold the power of the usb cable.
Smelly aircrafts. >< I'll start with Day 2 photos:
YO. Welcome to japan!!! ~mr dave tay
Outside Harmony Hall. Darn wish I had taken the building instead of some silly spiral structure thing.

C'mon, let's take a look inside shall we?
Thats the cool jap guide, speaking in eng with a funky jap accent. So didn understand what he was saying.

Harmony Hall.

Yea thats the organ baby.
and its 70+ pipes, each with its own unique sound. =]
Ah you can see it more clearly here. Someone treated us to a performance on the organ, its such a nice way to welcome us the guests. Seats were too comfy however, and i treated myself to a good 10min sleep. o yeah.

They choreograph like siao lor. They were all over the place.
They even ran all the way to the back of the hall and umm dance-played.

Okay so when they finally wrapped up their last piece, we all realised that we were nowhere near as good as them and we felt pretty demoralised. Haha and before i knew it, the stage was ours to light and i screwed up! o wells. And it had to be the first few notes of the entire thing. So that basically set the mood for the rest of the songs. Omg i hope they dont think too poorly of spore bands.
But of course, Shahadan and I decided to do the right thing by asking for forgiveness. Lol. Yeah and we did.
Parking lot 101. LOL. =] Okay i shall take my leave now. more picts tmr, tata.

Thank the heavens to have given me the strength to find my elusive usb cable. Shall it vanish no longer.
Today was, to put it simply, a busy day. Visited the chem lab to check on my cute crystals, and whether my experiment had been a success. So i walked over to the trays with expectation and saw that my green liquid (nickel sulphate i think) 4 days ago had no ruddy change. arghh. But nvm, i shall be optimistic and not declare it a compete failure yet. Not yet not just yet. Will check tomorrow!
Then i had band. Interesting 'section bonding' session i must say. Blahh cant really remember much here.
After that i gave amos and rajat a ride back home as they were living a stone's throw away from republic poly. Lol that sounded as if i had my own car. Anyway went to catch xinthesis 2, an annual performance of the respective arts socieities in xin min sec. Guzheng to 'wo3 bi2 ni3 geng4 xin1 jia1 po1' play staged by two chinamen. It was absolutely hilarious luh. Jia you ni men liang ge! Go on and make more pple around you smile.
Then there was this malay song n dance thing, where abt 25 malays uhm yeah, sang and danced. Up to now i'm still trying to figure out their aim. Maybe to boost malay culture i guess.
20min intermission. It was chinese dance, and i saw YOU(: 6th from stage left, end of 1st dance. Looks like u don't need perfect eyesight to spot old friends after all. Haha. Chinese drama followed. And it was pretty alright.
P.S. And I have not forgotten the photos.

Japan was totally AWESOME! Scenery-wise, food-wise, people-wise and things to buy-wise. Musically, it wasnt as satisfying as we had predicted. There's lots of room for improvement guys! Photos another time alright.
The 1st day: OKAY fine so i was the last one to arrive at changi airport. The last one and the latest as i strolled in 40mins after 5:30am, the time we were supposed to be all set and ready to check in. Drlee gave me the look of doom and said 'u owe me another 2000yen.' Ahh. Okay 1000 yen is approx. $13.33 so yah 2000 yen is double that. Omg then i was being all sulky n everything and couldnt enjoy my breakfast of bagel and hot vanilla properly. U cant expect yourself to frown and munch at the same time right. But mum gave me some of her encouraging words and said that everything will be fine, dont worry abt the money, go and enjoy yr trip(:
Slept like an obese pig throughout the entire flight. My nice peaceful sleep was disrupted 3x, the first time weng fong woke me up and told me that sleeping with yr neck tilted wickedly to the side will cause some pretty painful aches later on so i adjusted, then went back to sleep. zzzzzz. the 2nd and 3rd time was when the aircrew were serving breakfast and lunch. I kept on refusing and waving them away until they decided to stick a 'Please do not disturb' sticker on my seat. They bu shuang is it. I found it so funky.
Dinner on the bus was erm, delicious? For a handful. But for the majority of us, including me, it was a pain to look at. Jap green tea was okay.
Then there was hot springs. We were all completely freaked out when we got there and were yelling about like some wet market. U know the drill yes? Goodness! Took me a really long time to calm my nerves and gather confidence. The hot water was da bomb, it was terrific. xD
The 2nd day: Breakfast was cool. wE had to kneel on the floor while we ate our food on the table so some pple ended up sitting on the floor after a while. After that, we went to Harmony Hall, arguably our most important performance of the trip. and. we. screwed it up! hahaha. shahadan and i had to play the first few notes of our entire performance and we (oops) couldnt come in on time. Oh wells. I cant wait for the recording to be delivered to us. I shall force myself to hear my mistake over and over again(:
We exchanged with the Takefu High School students there, who showed us how passionate they were when it comes to music and band. I asked for a couple of autographs and photos and left, feeling happy but with a somewhat depressing feeling inside. Tsktsk mistakes mistakes. But its okay, i told myself.
The 3rd day: My favourite concert of the trip! We staged a performance for primary school kids at the Parea Wakasa Concert Hall and the atmosphere was so bubbly and relaxing! We kicked off with doraemon and Dr lee was bring an absolute joker, he turned to face the excited primary kids and started making so many hilarious hand and body actions. Omg I couldnt play properly luh. I was laughing too much hahaha.
Soon after, we zoomed to Natasho School in Ooi city and we had a lively and funny interaction with the Jap school kids, prior to our performance. It was very interesting to learn that some of them actually speak very good English! But of course, before we could get to know more about them, it was back to work. Our performance was satisfying. I played okay =]
Back to the hotel, i gave myself a real treat at the hot springs. A whole 60 mins of fun.
The 4th day: How to say, we went to this huge hilly place with lush greenery and many adorable animals. There was this crazy black monkey that kept jumping about in its cage. I think this might have caused the other monkey in the cage to become just as insane and followed suit. Dumb monkeys. xD
We were given plenty of free time to ourselves so me, Brandon, Shengyuan, Leonard, Louis and a couple of others. 7 locations and when u arrive at each location, walk up to a volunteer and he or she will paste a sticker on yr pamphlet. My tour guide told me that whoever collects all the stickers gets a prize. It turned out to be a lie, but i wouldnt have mattered anyway. I lost the pamphlet after making the effort to find all 7 locations.
It was a beautiful place and i just had to leave my phone on the bus, so i kept insisting to borrow Louis' camera but uh failed, borrowed Kai Xiang's camera instead. He claimed he had very shaky hands so he begged me to take good shots for him. Got separated with the rest and met up with Hao Cher, he kept wanting to go somewhere (forgot where haha) but i reminded him that we didn have the time for that lol. Almost abandoned Kai Xiang but we decided to be nice so we waited for him to take a picture of the monorail.
Then we had free n easy lunch and i finished this gigantic enormous bigbigbig plate of food! I looked at the portion and the price. 890 yen for such a large plate. It was more than worth it. Too bad i got stomach cram for 5hours and couldnt eat my dinner, which was just as appetising, damn. Yet another performance but this time in front of the mayor of japan! and the general public.
Saw fireflies at night!
5th day: Another great day ahead. Had my 4th ice cream in 5 days and bussed to Fukui Pre- Historical Museum and learnt more about the Beijing Hanshin Earthquake, back in 1990-something. History aint my thing, yeah so i had to endure more blah blah before we finally headed back to the bus. We headed for Kobe for a pit stop, then moved on to Osaka. Dr lee kept telling me that i will be sleeping in his toilet, thankfully not phewws. Roomed with Shaun and had a great laugh watching Wrestling, Soccer and i think some ultra funny comedy all at the same time before turning the lights out at 2.
6th day: As a result, we missed breakfast. Haha. But what's a simple breakfast compared to Osaka Castle and Universal Studios? (:
Osaka Castle was a sight to behold, thats what they say and i bought a couple of souvenirs to bring home. Xavier expressed his interest at a couple of cute keychains and we bought 2 each. Bought chicken for 250 yen but jingen felt it was a rip off. Snap snap here and there and left soon after.
Ah. The moment i have been waiting for. Universal Studios! The Hollywood Dream was the main highlight. Shahadan, louis, shengyuan, changzhao, roger and I queued up for over an hour. It was so exciting, i felt my heart plunge down into nothingness as the roller coaster roared down the track at terminal velocity. It then banked to the left and went in circles and up and down again. When it finally came to a stop, we all felt super high and rushed off to take the next ride.
Lunchtime. Changzhao louis and I broke away from the others and had a tasty treat at some restaurant called Griller's Bar, where louis chose a meal for 3. After eating, we almost walked away with a free lunch when louis and chang zhao remembered that we didn pay a single cent so we rushed back to our seats. At that time, everyone was like staring at us lol. Quite funny.
In the end, we only managed 2 rides as the queues were stretching like forever. Bought a lotta stuff. Went back to the hotel with a couple more kilos in my bagpack.
7th day: Gosh. Day 7, also our last night and 2nd last day of the trip. We went to Nara Deer Park where we saw hundreds of deer roaming about freely. Tried to take a pict of me with it but the silly deer kept looking away argh. Then there was this another silly deer pooping right next to me so yeah, it was mega stink. I apparently frightened away 2 young deer too, oh man, just by walking up to them, when all i wanted was a picture. Roar im scary. RAHH. Lol.
Observed the way Justin Du prayed to the Buddhist gods and i was about to do the same when he stopped me, 'eh u buddhist mehh?' I said 'no' then he said 'u do for what.' I looked at him and said 'oh. okay.' then the both of us continued walking. O.O
Performed for Yodogawa Technical High School, where we found out they practise from after school to 12 midnight on weekdays! 7 times a week, which means EvErY SiNgLe DaY. 8am to around 6pm on weekends. No wonder they were so dam pro, as we were outclassed and outdone by yet another japanese band. One of the bassoonists had a sleek black bassoon, which looked so cool compared to our dull red ones. Exchanged with them after that, and i got my gifts out. There were 5 of them and i had only brought 4, so i quickly searched my bag for anything that looked remotely like a present, found a pair of chopsticks and presented the gifts to them. Wah heng sia. Oh yeah 4 out of 5 of them use sony ericsson hps! Yeah we rock. Sony e rocks too.
Day8: Its burn money time! It was the last day of the trip, and the last day to spend all the remaining yen in our wallets. Had an enjoyable breakfast and went crazy at a shopping mall. Bought 3 jerseys- Spain, Chelsea and the Japan away kit and a light blue shirt and two keychains. Lots of well-known shops, like gap, billabong, adidas, nike, even lego and starbucks. Constantly switched partners. Ben tok was all over the place looking for a drink while Justin was searching for a hat that looked nice on him. Had lunch with xavier and alex fong. Had about 14000yen left in my wallet but i know i'd feel dam guilty if i had spent all of that. Left feeling happy with my purchases.
Before takeoff, i decided that sleeping was not an option but still fell sleep for an hour or two when the plane departed Japan International Airport. I woke up, learnt my lesson and flicked the remote on. Watched 10,000 BC and had to reply one bit about 3x. Tsk. Turbulence was causing too much noise. Grabbed my first meal on board too. Im not gonna have another 'please do not disturb' sticker on my seat tyvm. Went on to supernatural, listened to a few music tracks and watched some soccer.
Touchdown.
Gave jingen a lift and reached home. Tuned in to Spain vs. some country on euro2008 after that. Wow. If u got here, good job. Give yourself a pat on the back. U just read 1,898 words. =] (courtesy of MWord's word count)

Hi. Y'know, i'd give anything to stay at home, eat talk tv sleep and have my daily supply of calcium from the fridge, jump from one great blog to the next, leave a couple of tags here and there, and there and here and everywhere. I'd proudly lose a tug-of-war in a foreign competition and get sent home if that is what it takes for me to stay, right here. Or whatever. Im not making much sense haha.
Im referring to band camp. Well to cut a long story shorter, i have yeah, camp from the 6th to the 10th, coming back home at around 4pm, then before i can settle i'll have to get ready to be in the airport at 5am, wait for the plane to arrive then chiong on it at 9 or so. Japan here i come! 11th-18th june. I'll do the math.
Wahh. Okay. Done. Its a 13 day hiatus. Thats a bit the longgg i know.
This blog shall be spammed by photos of japan and all sorts of nonsense details when the calendar flips to the 19th of june i cross my fingers. Hope the stuff in japan isnt too you know, ex. Okay will miss you guys! I think its about 1 dollar gone for every msg sent from here to japan and from japan back here, and 2 bucks gone for every 1 min spent on the phone? Lol so EX.
Righto I shall take my leave now. But, I will.
Be.
Back. (:

Click 5 concert! Dad had stuff going on at the last min so we err, kinda wasted $61. (yes im trying to make you jealoush shadi =]) sorry for the angled shots, my bro and i had to be the not so lucky ones and got the seats on the far left of the hall. but a good view nonetheless.
After a reallllly longgggg wait, this loud and deep voice boomed out from somewhere, anywhere i dont care, just start the concert! At the sound of the guy's voice, everyone started to squeal and scream as we waited for the guy to call for the concert to begin.
'Ladies and gentlemen (more screaming), please settle down. The concert will begin in 15 mins.'
Haha then everyone started laughing. Like dude, some fans are dying of anxiety over here, please lets begin!
It was a good thing that they kept their word, (kept their word to start the concert, not keep their word to start the concert in 15 mins, it was like 20-25mins of agonising wait?) some people had started flapping the red handclap thing like mad.
Tks to those people i followed suit and flapped mine around like some ___. It was not until halfway through the concert that i realised that there was a tiny slit between the flap for you to put your hand through. No wonder. Before that discovery i was flapping it about like some piece of red cardboard.
A large majority of the songs sang last night were from their latest album, Modern Minds and Pastimes so i was quite envious of the people around me who kept belting out song after song along with the Click Five 5. For someone who has only listened to like, what, Jenny? in their new album deserves applause for managing to recognise and name a couple of songs sung that night =] Lol.
Speaking of Jenny, i have come to realise that its a fan favourite.
There was this point in time where they disappeared for like 3mins straight after one of their hits, perhaps to grab a coke or two, and the poor fans who were waiting for them to return (or not) were screaming and yelling their throats dry. Then they screamed again when they finally came back. Then they screamed somemore when they finally got their wish by singing Jenny with the click5. At that point, most of the people bue tahan the relief and excitement and just stood up and screamed screamed screamed. =D
The Click 5 rounded off the night with a disco song which lasted for abt 7 mins. Don't need to say luh, more jumping more screaming =]
The shots:
 The red handclap thing
I got everyone except the lead singer! Up to now i still have no idea what his name is. Argh. Stoopid camera. Oh I was using my the camera on my hp btw.
