For today, i spent most of my time in band and then collapsing on the floor at home. When i finally realised that i just wasted half a day, i went to take a quick shower, quick as in real quick (10secs) and zoomed off to nygh to watch the guzheng concert! Sorry winston for not being able to turn up at kap at 5. Met up with winston and kahjin at the side gate and trudged inside the scl. Kahjin was carrying a huge plastic bag with a huge wrapped up present inside. We reached the waiting area, where kj spotted eiffel and she promptly passed us our tickets. i just stared. u know, eiffel's changed so much over the years! tell me to play the 'spot the eiffel' game and i'd finish last for sure heh heh. Realised that i brought everything except the 10bucks for the ticket. Thanks kahjin(:
I've never been to a guzheng concert before, or seen a guzheng for that matter, so i was actually taken by surprise at the sight of the instrument and the sound it produced. The notes, i felt, were very delicate and resonant as i tried, with my horrible terrible vegetable sense of hearing, to hear for any out-of-tuneness but after 10 mins, i still could not separate the good sounds from the bad, if any, and so i sat back, relaxed, enjoyed the show. luckily i sat at the aisle. if not my legs will get bad aching cramps. but oh crap. think i got boohoo.
Kj told me that chongmin will be conducting 'bu neng shuo de mimi', and he was right. Chongmin came out with the baton in her hand and i saw her swishing the stick down, then to the right, then to the left and finally up again (aiya its 4-4 time lah noobs- heh kidding xD) i found myself liking this piece. very soothing. After the concert, kj, winston and I tiptoed to the front of the stage where we located chongmin within 10secs, which was a rather impressive feat, considering the number of bodies rushing up and occupying the stage like mad traffic. kj gave his present, with me and winston following suit. hee. =] Kj and I left winston to his 'search', where the first thing we heard was this ang mor guy shouting 'BUBBLE TEA?', which we found dam amusing and started laughing away. I pulled out 2bucks from my bag and exchanged it for the bubbletea. Despite the colour, it was not that bad, i felt refreshed but my tummy couldnt take it as well as my mouth did haha. i bumped into wan ting while running at full speed outside the school and she almost mistook me for some crazy mas selamat-ish maniac running in the middle of the night. Yeah, okay thats it for today. '2:15' says my handphone. O.O i love post-exam days. bye!
