We got knocked out of the Dota competition quarter-finals. Its also the same to say that we got knocked out of the second round. I think it was like, 48 to 20 kills? We made up the 20. Hooray!
But at least we managed to hold on until it was 47:13 on the clock, our time of death. >< Hey its quite good, considering they're a year or year and a half older and they're indonesian. Sparks flew, and thousands of magic spells were cast. Commands belted out non-stop. In the end, the opponents overpowered us and kicked us out of the competition. I remember them bursting into laughter whenever they killed one of us, which was like every 10 secs. I contributed to the team by killing 4.
We went home feeling grumpy.
Vantage pt stinks. The setting was at some structure in Spain. The vip's from US had arrived to launch a grand campaign against terrorism, in view of the 911 disaster. That was okay. But what was not okay was that it repeated itself a total of 6x, where after reaching a certain part in the story, it would rewind and start from another person's view.
1st time: News reporters. Here we see the head of GNN (Global Nationwide News or something like that) and a few others doing their work, ordering the camera pple around. This lady called Amy was the reporter for the grand campaign against terrorism and she was told to update people all over the world what was going on. Then, all of a sudden, the president was shot. The thousands of people started panicking and running around like lost chickens. Then the bomb exploded. BOOM.
2nd time: This person with the surname Barnes. While another VIP was delivering a speech, some movement at a curtain a level above caught his eye, and he sent security to check on it. The security checked and told him its just 'someone who forgot to turn the fan off.' Barnes relaxed a little. Then the president was shot. People ran around. Bomb exploded. BOOM.
Bleargh im getting lazy.
3rd time: Another man. He saw his Veronica making out with another man but Veronica told him dont worry. Then the president was shot. People ran around. Bomb exploded. BOOM.
4th time: A tubby photographer.
5th time: The president.
6th time: The terrorists. This time the movie finally decided to give us a break and continue, where baddie 1 and baddie 2 were fleeing in an ambulance. Catching sight of her mum, a little pretty girl called Anna had stepped out onto the busy main road in an attempt to reunite with her mum, right in the path of the ambulance. Baddie 1 then swerved and in doing so, tipped the ambulance over. Before the skidding ambulance could crush poor Anna, the tubby photographer saved the day by grabbing her to safety. Barnes had found the president in the ambulance, alive but shaken. Baddie Baddie 2 had died. Baddie 1 tried to shoot at Barnes, but Barnes was the first to press the trigger. So baddie 1 died. Helicopter came, brought president to hospital and then the credits started rolling.
All that above was equal to an hour of half wasted. Awww.
