today's SSO concert stank. like wet socks. like rotten cabbage. like worms... like naggy parents?
oh my goodness gracious, the two hours was absolutely dreadful. yesyes i know im in band, but listening to the SSO playing random tunes just drives me bonkers. >< one of the songs was so ridiculous that we kept laughing about it during the intermission. seriously, that song sounded like popping pimples and yr great-great grandmother trying to sing soprano. Then there were the occasional longgg periods of dead silence and i almost started clapping in relief, but only for the orchestra to suddenly roar into life again. Yea, not forgetting the occasional yawns behind me.
My statistics:
Yawned 16 times.
Slept for 20mins.
Feeling guilty, I asked one of my friends after the concert and he said he slept throughout the whole thing! Even better, the person i was expecting did not turn up as expected. 'Its my father's birthday today, sir. I'm having a party at home.' Haha genius, very clever. xD
Boring concerts aside, I made a new discovery today. I found out that bus 74 travels all the way from school to my grandparents house! Thank you, applause please. (: Pheww, what a relief. Im so glad i can avoid taking the mrt. The last time i took it, well, i slept and when i opened my eyes, i kicked myself and walked out of the train. I had alighted at somerset ._.
Chicken nuggets for supper! Hope it erases the memory of that oh so depressing concert. My meal's arriving in 5mins time. Excuse me.
