A strange day indeed. Why? I dont know myself. Just a feeling.
Set my alarm at 8 and promised to haul myself out of bed when the alarm sounded. I woke up at around 8, then went straight back to sleep. Woke up again at 9, and again at 9:15, then decided i had better things to do than sleeping so i finally got up. HOORAY.
While i was strumming the guitar, the people i asked to come along to plaza sing started to msg me, claiming they had other priorities, eg the dentist, chalet blabla. When the clock struck 12, only 3 remained (out of 10! and thats including me.) Riinged marc and let him know abt the not-so-good news, where he decided to stay at home to entertain his cousin. Oh wells. Then there were 2.
I let kahjin know and i was pretty thankful that he didn pangseh me. Yea so we met at the food court, which after a few panicky moments, I managed to find. Darnit I tend to get lost everytime i enter a foreign environment, like big old shopping mall plaza sing. I havent been there in years!
Had the awesome chicken from the awesome stall! Some say the best things are in heaven. Well they're sorely mistaken. I asked kahjin whether this really nice and yummy chicken was still around and he immediately knew what I was referring to. $4.80 for a meal a hundred milllion times better than jack's place's $16.90 sirloin steak. Aah raise the price of the chicky to 10bucks and people would still create a massive hullabaloo about it. Hmm. Or maybe not.
I asked kahjin whether he would like to watch a movie with me after lunch but he (very kindly) apologised and said that he had a chess class to go to. That left me contemplating on how to kill/enjoy a good 2+hrs in plaza sing, which i miserably failed to do so.
After running from one 7-11 to another, under the incessant drizzle, I met up with chongmin and her fren and wandered around like 3 little meowmeows. Haha. I bet i annoyed one of the best denki staff by sitting on one of their chairs lols. He looked damn grouchy. Grah do i really look and smell like some stray pig? Parted ways 10 mins before 4 as they had a movie to catch. I want to watch step up 2 2!
Okay i have to cut short- time's running out for me.
After that i met up with daniel at aljunied mrt, where he made me wait for him for a good 30mins. I lost count on how many times i fell asleep on the seat. Followed him to a church in the middle of geylang. Haha i laughed like crazy when i saw it lah. I mean, a church in geylang! Of all places. Even building one at the bottom of the ocean is better. Wonder what kind of people enter that poor building. 99% prostitutes perhaps. Pity the 1%. Well u cant say im wrong. xD
Although i felt really outcast at first, i eventually got used to the people and my surroundings and all in all, had a good time there. =D
Its been a strange day. Why? No, not because I walked all the way back from amk mrt station to my gramps place when i could have taken the bus. Well. Just a feeling then.
I rest my case.
